My guess is no. Tri 5's hadrtop bottoms are different. Not to say you can't make them work. The 1/4 pads are wider on the hardtop arin't they???
we are inclined to say yes, have 2 & 4 dr sedans here sent a pic of hardtop conv and i will compare, 1/4 panels are diffirent on hardtop and sedan for 49-52. send a pic of the 53 hardtop door would like the lentgh of the bottom of the 53 hardtop door and will compare against sedan. fyi the sedan delivery use the same rear seat pan as a 4door
I can tell you for certain in 49- 52 hardtops and post cars are different. there is all sorts of different bracing on the hardtops. also the rear "door" panels are flat on the post cars while the hardtops have that big armrest thing hanging out. a big no from me, though I've never owned or worked on a 53-54 hardtop
bracing and arm rests are ad on's to the main stamping, the rear seat riser should be the same, post of pic of what you have
My memory's a bit fuzzy with the p***age of time but... I had a '53 coupe, wanted to put seats from a 4 door in it. Found the sedan rear seat bottom sits farther back between the rear wheel wells and therefore has more of a cutout on the ends to clear the wells. Doesn't really answer your question I s'pose, the 2 and 4 door seats might be the same, but they're not all the same, the coupe is definitely different.
the rear seat riser is the same, but there is another brace in the floor about 6" in front of the seat riser which is where the seat sits. again.. talking 49-52's here. I am ***uming 53-54 to be the same since it's the same frame and similar body construction.
