I made his daughters an offer on it last week. I probably helped you get it!!!:D I have too many projects and I really didn't have time to work on it. I'm just glad a HAMBER got this one, I'd hate to have seen it go to someone that didn't know what it was.

  2. Wow what a total score! That thing is so real, don't get any better then that!
So how'd ya find it? Tell ua more!

    Holy shit that's cool.

  6. That is quite a find. I did notice that the brake arrangement must be interesting. The pedal seems to be in the normal spot but the master cylinder is close to the center of the firewall. How does that work?

I tried to sit in the car. I'm 6 foot tall and it wasnt happening! neat car, But almost chopped too much and channeled too much. I couldnt drive it the way it was, But that motor is cool as hell.

7 1/4'' on the chop but it's a drag car... he said in articles that it was a street car
mother said it was never driven on street here in calif. but was raced at lions.

Congrats, I have past this car on my way to work for 4+ years. When the guy was alive he would have shot you if you walked within 20 yards of it. I'm glad fate put it in the right hands.

Very cool. I am with some of the others, i would get it running and safe and drive the hell out of it. Cars are only original once, you cant unrestore it.

  18. Find of the year. Congrats. Can't wait to see how this one progresses.

  19. WOW, this is the kind of deal where "I know a guy that knows a guy who's brother knows a a guy that found a great car in an old barn" story, the fact that this time it is real give hope for more great finds out there!!! I agree it's only original once, even restored it still wouldn't be original as the builder did it, you do what you want though it's your dream now, congrats. very very cool

Perfect stance. Really, really nice car.

I remember my father taking me out to Westhampton drag strip back in the day.

Awesome that its once again in the hands of someone that appreciates it.

I reserve the right to retract this statement at any time if I see it on Ebay. :)
