Just don't build it to sit and look at drive it.

 

It's a Nomad guys... I don't think they came with sixes and the stock motor was plenty for a driver. I'd put a four speed in it and change the stance to make a nice reliable driver. Cole Foster of Slaina's Boys fame built a *****'n 56 so I'd look to that for inspiration. BTW a 283 is as reliable as a 350 and they're not as "rare" or "exotic" as people think.

 

How the hell do you "loose" a car by repainting it a different color.

 

lol, not the car, i was referring to its iden***y as one of the few in that color combo, with the 283 power pack and its other options, but what you guys are saying is totally true, i do restorations myself, so really...whats a paint job and stock suspension if i ever wanted to change it back? nothing.....i am lovin this post though, how many nomad owners do we have here anyway?
