    Well,

it may be winter, officially and we have had some cold days, maybe not as cold as some of you lot get, but cold enough for me. And its been raining for the last few weekend.

I haven't had the roadster out since February, just life getting in the way, young child, house extensions, Oldsmobile to get sorted let alone having to move 3 cars out of the driveway and swap a battery over to get it fired.

well it has been on my 'to do ' list for quite a while. I wanted to drop the oil and change the filter before I drove it again as the oil in it was fresh after the crank was rebalanced and I was wary of swarf etc in the oil maybe scoring the bearings or worse. So Saturday I pulled my finger out and finally changed the oil took a bit to fire the car as it had been sitting but once it was running it sounded sweet.

So I backed the other cars out and swapped the battery and moved the house plants and other **** that was blocking its road and took it for a spin up the road.

I am a little concerned though as I think I might be up for some rear tyres, as it seemed that every time I gave it a fair bit of right foot the rear tyres wouldn't grip, so I had to be careful and drive a bit more sedately.

Needless to say, it was nice to hear the girl running again, she sounds like I think she should - like she has a bad case of PMS. I have left her uncovered in the shed ,as I think my problem is that its easy to ignore her when all I see in the shed is a big blue blob. but when I open the door and see her sitting there its hard not to stare and want to grab the keys...

****YES THE STEERING WHEEL IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE.***

  2. Cool feeling getting a Roadster out for the day...!

    Your car is PERFECT!

I've found that if you wait for good weather up here... you'll never drive it....!

I've got 2,000 miles on mine this spring and hopefully I can afford 10,000 more miles like last year.

    Get out and enjoy...........

I know exactly how you feel Flatoz, grabbed my roadster today and did the same thing, cold or not driving a rod can't help but make a **** day a little better.

Drove mine to work the past 2 days. It's a bit crisp in the am, but nothing a leather jacket can't deal with. It's a great feeling.

    Have fun Flatoz.

This was actually Saturday, I know the weather was nicer yesterday, but sadly the roadsters blocked in again, thats ok, there is next weekend. The covers off, it can get a bit dirtier won't matter.

    Bern, sounds good to me

Compact. yep that counts, it was seat time, even if short.

Fly, their believe it or not. Coker but Aussie made? Not sure when that happened, but that is what is on the sidewalls. Initally I didn't like them that much as I like the firestone pie crust edges, but they have grown on me. size is 7.50x16 their about 31+ inches tall. I haven't seen another set, their whitewalls, but I have em inside out.
