Did a search and didn't see one for today, so here's a start. This '49 Ford is kind of a survivor. I built this maybe 25 or more years ago. I keep thinking I should repaint it but I kinda like it the way it is.
Nice '49! That's a great old kit; for accuracy it's just as good if not better than any recent release. Keeping with the blue-with-flames theme is this AMT Deuce roadster built in vintage style with painted and striped flames. Built a couple years ago from a '70s reissue and a bunch of early '60s parts.
I'm working on the Revell '49 Merc. I've changed the tail lights to an oval shaped frenched light, modified the fender skirts to follow the curve of the Buick side trim (I got these from Altered States over 10 years ago), and the head lights will be the tri-blade headlights from the Blueprinter Parts Pack. I'll be adding arm rests (you can kinda see one of the ones I made in the last picture) and photoetched door handles/window cranks to the interior, and use the '58 Chevy steering wheel from the Roth Outlaw. I'd leave the '49 alone. And I really like the deuce and the diorama. Jim
