well i got a 53 off a fellow hamber and it got delivered into my family's posession today. now to get it shipped.
i'm not usually a huge fan of those cars (prefer the chevy version of that year) but i must say that one is very nice indeed. enjoy it!

ha ha ha, that pic was taken yesterday. ive got a lot i already know i need to do to it. new ignition, rear end, door panels, carpet, chop it, lower it some more, new front bumper and grill. that should keep me busy for a while as long as i can sell my lemans to pay for it all.
My first car was a 54 Tudor Ranch Wagon w/ automatic and flathead, God I hated that thing. My dad used to haul a fishing boat around on the roof just to humiliate me. I'd like to have it back now.
Nice car, hope you enjoy it. In the early sixties there was a nice 53 running around here. It was owned by a U.S. Navy guy at the base in Argentia. It was nosed, decked, shaved and lowered, skirts,gl***packs. It was a light blue, much like my 48 in my avatar. 50 years later I still remember that car and the sound that only a flathead could make.
