Event Coverage Antique Nationals Pic's !!!!!!

I'm glad to see you went to the Antique drags since I didnt go. I wanted to, but I was going to go early and leave at noon to pick up my friend from the airport, but me being the person that doesnt wake up until noon on the weekends didnt make it out. With all the shows I wanted to go to (cl***ic, antique drags, and el mirage) I didnt go to any. I was super bumed... glad you took a lot of pics though. Hope you enjoyed it...

 

Believe it or not, almost all of those cars on the trailer actually raced.

 

There is no way in hell that I am missing this next year....

That video of your victory run turned out pretty cool Bob. I'll get it uploaded as soon as I can, as well as all the other pictures. I'll get to them tonight. Takes too long to put anything photobucket here at work. I'll probably even start another thread because I've got so many damn pictures. I'll link it up here, if I do.

It was quite a way down the track close to the fence. I was chatting to owner/builder Bob Green about it and he says he doesn't race it anymore because he just cannot get the mechanical parts - especially the engine, as it is based on a '28 Chevy. A pity as it is so cool.

Thanks for posting all these pics, nice to see the real hotrods and hot rodders come out, most of the time all the ink seems to go to guys in hundred dollar jeans, and their 300 grand cars built by others.
