In case you are unaware, I'm in SoCal this week for the LA Roadster show...driving all over visiting the local shops. Yesterday we stopped by Foose's late in the day....and he fired up the P32 and moved it the other side of the shop....this thing sounds awesome.

Definitely needs a nose job but the rest is nice and has a nice sound

Hmm, loose the nose and give it a better windscreen and that would be kinda nice.

So many Chip creations...... The nose on this roadster is actually one of my favorite Foose elements.

"Hey guys, I'm gonna put an airplane nose on the front of my '32"....
    (awww man, don't do it.....)
Dang, if I don't like it pretty well!

Great stance and proportions. Sounds really good too.

I like it. The nose makes it pretty unique. Mix it with the windsheild and has a really airplane look.

Like the nose or don't, it isn't hard to imagine a prop spinning on that nose cone as that V12 idles.

I sure wish he would paint it like a proper P-40! :D

    from here

Earlier this month there was a thread about "Lexan having a bad rap".

Sure looks to me like that windscreen might be Lexan.

Ive never heard a V12 before. Sounds great!!!!

  17. I'd hate to be in a head on with this thing:eek:

I imagine that was correct for the type of plane he was inspired by. That's just a guess, however.

My guess is: one from the fwd cockpit, and one from the aft, on a trainer or two seater........If there was such an animal..................

Yeah, I guess that would make sense. Was thinking maybe those were reproduction seats and cushions, but I guess it's totally plausible those are the real deal and if they were, your guess would make complete sense, for sure!

That is one hell of a car. I would take it and drive it the way it is. Pretty interesting shifter design there also. As it comes from the back of the dash and is bent around it.
