I posted this in the thread about Indy Good Guys Shop parties from last week. This was at Bubba's. Awesome shop, and Scott and his dad are first rate. I thought I'd share it with everyone. When we got to Bubba's, I thought I should do a proper "Howdy Do!" Lindross and the crowd seemed pleased.
IT WAS AWSUME .. and we all commented, "OH, that's going to leave a mark".... If you wern't there, You missed a great time. AND what a fantastic truck...you guy's should be proud.. And it did.... Thanks we loved it!
Is that a duesenberg in the front of the picture? If it is do you have any pics of it? By the way nice burnout .
Hells Yeah!! First time in the seat on the track it ran 80.6 @ 8.190 in the 1/8th mile at IRP (Indianapolis Raceway Park for the unschooled). Admittedly, he missed 2nd gear. I can't wait to see what it runs after a few more test and tune nights and we get the carbs jetted correctly!
thanks, I got to sit in a real aurburn boattail speedster last year at the gilmore museum last year. if I won the lottery it would be one of the cars i would buy.
Hahaha..."hurry, bust a left, then a quick right, maybe we'll shake 'em"..... That truck is soooooooo cool......
Hey, nothing wrong at all with making a grande entrance. Glad you guys made it and hope you had a good time. Nice to see a car build to show that can also back it up and go. haha What's the point if ya can't drive em and have fun.
Yeah, between HROTY and going to the parties, we put 200 miles on it this past weekend. Not bad, with only 25 on it when we left the shop!

NICE. There should be a montage of HRCC built cars doing burnouts. I remember Backseat Betty doing a few at Garage Days a few years back. You really have me rethinking that flatty now Kevin.
