ATTN: Kansas and Oklahoma Hambers......Hamb relay!!...BTTT

Hey there, Zman is needing to get his Buick roadster body home from California to North Carolina. I am offering up my help to maybe bring it from Ca. with me around October the 15th to as far as central Kansas. I just need a hamber's place to put it once I get it to around Hutchinson, Kansas. Is there a Kansas Hamber in Wichita, or near there who would be willing to hold it for Zman till he can get it relayed from your place to North Carolina. Let's try and help this dude out.....Holler at me soon as I'm leaving in a couple of weeks and need to make plans if this is gonna be a reality. Zman.....get the body to Bakersfield or Fresno to a Hambers place and I could bring it from there. Bakersfield would be the best. Lemme know ya'll....I'm willing to help if I can.

Zman, I can plop it at Rad****'s place in New Mexico so that's a good 1000 miles closer to you than where it is now.
That's as far as I can get it ***uming you could have it ready for me to pick up in Bakersfield....
If we can find a Kansas Hamber to take it as a foster parent for a time then I can get it that much closer. I just don't have time to travel with it once I get to Kansas as I have family business to take care of the short time I am there. So.....either NM at this point or we need to find a central Kansas home for it.

Alright Kansas Hambers....or Oklahoma City Hambers....step up to the relay plate! we needs yo help.

 

To help with info for this relay, here is my travel route and dates......
Oct. 14th eve or 15th morning. I will leave California p***ing through Bakersfield, Needles, Barstow on the way to US 40. I will take US 40 all the way till I get to Oklahoma City and then I will take Hwy 135 north to Wichita, Kansas.
Then I am heading on K 61 to Hutchinson, Kansas. I should arrive in Oklahoma Ciy on the 15th eve. or 16th eve. depending on which day I leave Ca. So...here is my Cell #
to help coordinate the relay (209)740-7404

 

I'm in Sedalia MO, will this help? I can store it as long as you need me to. I'm about three hours east of Wichita. Dean

 

Man, that would be cool, I just can't take it any further East than Oklahoma City or Wichita, Kansas. I need either a place in OKC or Wichita to plop it once I get it that far.

I know you said you couldn't get it any further East than OKC, but if there's any way to get it up to Tulsa I could store it as long as he needed.

I'd try and meet you in OKC but the dates you got make it kinda hard. I just wouldn't have time for the drive down and back with what I got going on those days.

If nothing else maybe someone could store it a few days (less than say a week) in OKC then I could go pick it up and bring it back to my place.

I'll help any way I can.

 

ok, lemme look at my map and see about swinging it over to Tulsa. I got family there anyhow. If I'm too tired from driving from Flagstaff that day, I could stay a night there.
I'm just waiting to hear from Zman to see if it can be in Bakersfield by the 13th of Oct. The roadster has to be there first so I can get it from there to Oklahoma. I'll check in later this eve. My cell # has been posted above so just gimme a call if you need to reach me, but call after 3 pm California time today (friday) as I am just getting off work this morning and will be sleeping. I hope that some Socal or desert Hamber can get the body to Bakersfield for Zman. Could someone take it there when they go to the Hotrod Reunion at Famoso?

 

If it gets to OK City, Tulsa, Or Wichita, I WILL get it and BRING it to my place and STORE as long as needs be.

i can help you in the texas panhandle! 20 miles south of I-40 . just three hours west of okc.

 

I'm in the Hutchinson area and have plenty of space. Might be fun to catch me that weekend but we could work something out if it doesn't work for Jim. Let me know if I can help.
