I grew up just down the hill from the entry to Mullholand from the Cahuenga p***(which is only a minute from Dean Jeffries shop) I went to school with a kid who lived right off of mulholland and I used to ride my dirtbike up through the hollywood hills to Mullholand and to his house so I wouldn't get caught. One day he told me there was some old cars near his house and we went down and checked em out. One was a '40 ford coupe, black with the flathead still in it and '63 registration on the plate(it was stripped of anything useful) and the other car was a '66 or so Olds Dynamic 88 I think with an iron cross decal in the drivers vent window, it had a tree growing through it. I went back a few years later with my friend Drew and they were still there, we wanted to try to salvage the '40, but it was ****ed, and really far down in the gully. They're still probably there....

One of the best, worst movies out there. Cal (Hopper) wasn't a bad guy, just "deep". hahahaha

Debra Van Sumthineruther.....singing in the recording studio, dang, I get uncomfortable just thinking about it.

In the 80's I slid my Nissan minitruck around some of those corners, yeah...***y.

Yup, that be the one. It's a full house RSR with mechanical injection and an alloy roll cage.

Thanks for all the info guys. After 30 years I finally got to drive the road I've read about all those years. To bad it was in a rented suv at about 35 mph with a screamn family yelling slow down. Sure wish I lived in Ca. growing up.

Safety Devices, an English Roll Cage manufacturer was offering Aluminum Roll Cages in the late 70's. How do I know? My ****** Mk I RS1600 had one in it in 1976. Absolutely gorgeous piece.

up here in the northern end of the state we have Sunrise Hwy which runs from the lower end of SF down towards SF, if you go out there on a satruday or sunday morning you can watch the superbike guys run...

I bought a copy of King of the mountain at the L.A.R.S.. It was such a bad bootleg, it is mostly unwatchable.

[We usually did what we called Tag Racing. Two cars would take off nose to tail, no p***ing. When you got to the end either the guy was on your *** or he wasn't. You would then turn around and reverse the order and run back. Always pretty obvious who was faster.

That makes more sense than trying to p*** anyone up there! Always wondered how 'Canyon Racing' worked! Mean lookin' Tiger!
