My 39 std. build

    Well I started on the build of my 39 std. sedan and thought I would put the build up on here.Im a long haul trucker so I may not get pics up that quick but I will post as I go.
    So what are my plans for this build?Well here is the list of parts I have so far.

    Weedetr rear suspension
    Magnum 4" drop axle with a mono leaf spring.
    Magnum center section for the crossmember and spliting the bones
    42'-46 split bones
    sand blast and paint the frame black
    8" rearend out of a 66 ranchero
    1957 chrysler 354 poly installed with engine mounts I got from 73rr on here to mount a chrysler to the stock flathead mounts.
    Turbo 350 with a wilcap adapt.
    Rolling on 15x5 gennie's and 15x7 gennie's painted black

    Front axle,mono leaf,shock mounts and shocks installed and the bones are split and on the frame.I still need to adj. the joints on the bones to get them right.

    Thanks, with any luck I will get it on the road sometime before the end of the year.

    that was a nice start for a project , just the photos of that headliner and interior made my allergies kick in lol can almost smell the dust and mustiness

    Hi, where did you get the wishbone split plate from, and are they car or truck tierod ends? I am looking at making a plate for my 40, but if one exists allready...

    The center kit came from Magnum Axle Co. but I can't remember the cost.Really nice kit and easy to use it came with the bungs and tie rods for the bones,top plate,rear plate and the bottom plate and other than welding in the bungs it is all bolt in.
