Hello all, Im kind new here, I have been lurking for a while. Anyway, I have been on the lookout for a solid model A sedan and found what i thought was a solid platform. But the owner tells me it a 26 Hudson Es*** sedan. its pretty complete except, no doors (anyone know where those can be located? searched fleebay already). Is this a good platform to start with and do you know if parts are interchangeable with the current aftermarket parts that are available for the ford cars.? I know I am asking some pretty broad questions so bear with me, all of my research has been Ford based not Hudson. thanks

Howdy from another Es*** owner. No, body parts are not interchangeable between Es*** and Fords or anyone else that I know of. Parts are out there ... kind of. Hope you know how to weld and get crafty at fabricating. Finding doors shouldn't be too hard. Go to cl***ic car forums, they have a VERY active Hudson, Es***, Terraplane group who can answer a lot of questions. You got pics?
    DO an introduction.

Welcome Robert...but your supposed to do an intro in the intro section above the main board. Nobody reads them but its recommended anyway. :)

Es*** isn't something I'm familiar with BUT I've always read that they are a very well build car (body structure anyway...) for their time.
I'm doubtful Ford parts will just bolt up, but we build Hot Rods so "bolt up" can be a broad term if you don't mind some adapting.
There ARE some guys here doing Es*** builds, so doing a search on the main board, as ****gy so bluntly suggested, would be a great idea!

I'm thinking that Es*** doors might not be such a hard thing to find.
Check out our Cl***ified section too. Never know what might turnip.....:D

Have fun and remember the HAMB can be a bit "in your face".
    Roll with it.....;)

Welcome to the HAMB, Robert. I have a '27 Es*** pickup. Can you get some pics of the car you're looking at to share with us?
