No not a '33, it's a '32 and looks to be original. The seller has 100% feedback so more than likely will stand behind the sale. The FOGGER

It is cast from brass, never having seen a real one, I assumed they were cast in white metal/zinc?

The 3 or 4 orginal ones I have were made of a pot metal. I have never had or seen a bronze one. I'd lean towards it being an early repro.

I just had a closer look, and it was sandcast, I'm positive it's an early repro.

The grille ornament is an early reproduction and not a very nice one due to being sandcast. Original ornaments are cast zinc alloy(often called pot metal) and have the Ford part number B-8215 cast into the underside.

The "gypo" grille emblem "Ford" oval which doesn't even fit the ornament very well at all.

Original emblems don't have the rim around the edge and are blue cloisonne enamel over chrome plated stamped copper with a stud on the back. The original 32 emblems are quite thick at the center tapering off to the ends.

The seller of this item doesn't know as much about early Ford parts as he thinks he does or his friends have told him.

Windshield division bars are the same for all 41-48 Ford body styles I believe. They are stamped and polished stainless steel with a plated mild steel insert with threaded bungs which slip through holes in the rubber moulding. A painted stamped steel backing plate has countersunk holes in it which the chrome-plated slothead screws run through to tighten the center bar in place.

Besides all the previous answers, the "FORD" oval should be FORD Blue!!!

Paypal accepted my dispute and has guaranteed a refund upon return delivery which they will track online, even though the seller refused. Thanks for the help guys!
