    Old US postal service ornament?:p Maybe 30's Packard.

    I've noticed that a lot of the "hood ornaments" I've seen advertised are actually the tops of trophy's or other non-automotive items. This may well be, as I'm 100% sure it's not a Packard ornament.

    might be a little later into the 40's, but not much past 48... its definitely got a deco flavor

    31-34 studebaker, but its missing the radiator cap , came on the president models

    Well done LowFat - the Flying Goose was a Studebaker signature hood ornament.
