Hot Rods Wheel Color Opinions Wanted

I am trying to decide on what color wheels to use on my project. I have attached a pic of the paint scheme I want to use. The black will be flat. So let me hear what you think.

It looks like there is a small transition of yellow to orange to red. I would go with a tangerine/orange color since its between the yellow and red.

 

Is that pic a rendition of what you are building???
If so, first thing i'll say is, cool!!
Second, i'd go with chrome Budd wheel's, or highly polished stainless simulators.....
I know, not paint, but i dig the look it has in the rendering..

EDIT..Ok, i just read your building Ford bus.....if it's the same scheme like you said, i'd still run what i typed above

I, too, like the chrome in the rendering.

 

Pick up one of the major colors in the flame job

 

I think it'd look bad *** if you had the painter paint the outside edge yellow and fade towards the center with orange then red. With a chrome bullet cap or spider caps

Polished ALCOA truck wheels, next question.

 

Chrome the outside of the wheel and podercoat the center of the wheel red.....
