Traction masters

    Anybody got a set of old traction master traction bars I could get a pic of and some dimensions ect for my 55 chevy? Can't remember did they come in different lengths ? Thanks Lippy

    Are you making them from scratch? I made mine and used a heim joint on both ends with opposite threads so turning them one way lengthens and the other shortens them. Pretty slick setup and it's universal..

    I had a set on my 59 vette, I think they had a rubber bushing on both ends like a rear sway bar deal. Don't get me wrong, heims are fine, just looking for that old look. Lippy

    When I raced I had a set on my '67 Fairlane--I lengthened them so that the rubber contacted the front spring eye instead of coming up against the spring. They worked better that way.
