Might be because of the literally antagonistic ***le of the show.
The "VZ" makes it sound more like a heavy weight boxing match than a laid back afternoon in the park with a bunch of "car guys".

Maybe in the future you should call it "Lowriders AND Hotrods" instead?

This show was to get the best of the worlds.

"Lowriders VZ Hotrods" sounds like two rival gangs squaring off on opposite sides of the alley.
Sharks against the Jets.
David VZ Goliath.

Make it FRIENDLY instead of like a "Us AGAINST Them and maybe people will come.

If I gotta 'splain more, you just ain't gonna ever get it, or the hotrods.

 

That was a whole of stuff I didn't want to see.

 

Why would anybody think that? It's a car show. Verses, against, its comparing the two types of cars. When teams go against each other they are not gangs fighting. All the people that went knew this was just a car show. 69 registered entries didn't think this was "gang fight". Everybody is grown and knew this was a friendly competetion between cars.

 

looks like the Lowriders came in first...and the Highrisers in second..followed by a close third with the Bikes and the Pedal Cars...Sadly the Hot Rods didn't make the cut...they didn't even get their pictures taken.

 

I hate awards and compe***ons at car shows...i would rather have car parties.....no awards... no ********...just a lot of beer and cool people to hang out with....stop the rivarlys

The lady was obviously on here trying get some interest to INCLUDE from our crowd......some of you guys NEVER fail to disappoint and embar*** the rest of us......

and The Hunnert Car PileUp sounds like hick reporting a bad accident.... but people still show up!..........

and most you guys cream over a goodguys show too.......... 1972 and older!!!

 

And Back To the 50's lets 60's cars in....

 

whats the big deal, I went to this show it was fun, no diff than a hot rod get together at a local joint, seems like the lowrider crowd is always down for a car show, i was dissapointed in the hot rods not showing up guess there too good to hang out with other car styles. In my opinion there should be more get togethers of hot rods, custom or what ever you call your car. The most customs ive seen was at a rice killer meet in mesquite tx, other than specific annual shows....like i said just my opinion

 

Car parties or just hanging out is the kewlest, cuts out the political **** and trophy *****s. Wished i would have been in town cause i have a great admiration for the old lowrider whips...wouldn't have one myself but really dig admiring the detail and time they put into thier rides
