  2. yeah, that got tagged onto my thread about where they all went. I was hoping for a stand alone body. hey, good to see brookville drove the prices down huh?

    Honestly, I bet a guy could buy that thing for 30K, get it running and still make another 10 grand.

    Well at least you grew up where there ever was any. Where I grew up deuce roadsters or coupes were about as common as wrecked spaceships. I never even saw a real one until I was well past 30, deuce that is. I thought I saw some spacships back in the 70s when I was getting my vitamins from Sandoz labs.

    In his questions from bidders he said it was listed locally at $32,000 Canadian. Isnt that like a million bucks or so in real money? [​IMG]

    Those listings are from September and October. [​IMG] If I'm not mistaken, that car was bought and shipped to South California within a few days of the transaction. It was a fairly complete car with a bunch of extra parts and looked good in real life. Wayno

    Somebody got it? I actually thought there might be more people from the tune in/turn on generation that would catch that tongue in cheek reference.
