Jaeger Speedometer and Tach ID needed.

    Anybody recognize these gauges? I bought them at the BG HRR, seller did not have a clue what they were. Tach is cable driven and clock is electric. Faces are contoured (raised center) and painted a blueish-silver color. Diameters are about 5 inches.

    I think they are from a MG TD based on pic I found on the web, but did not find any really clear pics to know for sure.

  3. Not a knock, but try the AACA forum. They might get you faster results.

    Or PM Damnfingers- he runs an MGTD.

    Try here, http://www.mgcars.org.uk/index.html I'd would be able to verify it myself but my workshop is in a real mess waiting for concrete to be poured. my gauges are in boxes in cabinets with tons of sheet metal equipment stacked in front of. tt

    Late (post October 1951 that is) MG TD.
    (Early models had flat dial faces,rev-counter "chronometric").
    Worth a bit money especially with a working clock...
