Black '55 Gasser @ Indy Goodguys

Attended the Indy Goodguys and what a show! Saw this HAMB member's '55 Chevy g***er and wonder if anyone knows whos this is? I would like to get more pictures of it if I could - AWESOME CAR!

 

I'm thinking that is RunaroundSue's new hotrod.

Yup, that's mine. Sorry, I "shouldn't" be on the HAMB during working hours....at least that's what I have my boss believing.

Thanks for the compliment. I went thru a lot to get it. There's a couple of other posts on here detailing everything. Just do a "runaroundsue" search. I don't have a lot of pics YET but there are others that are popping up.

Just curious here. Great car. Being that the rear is so high. Wouldn't that be called a "Street Freak"? At least that is what they called them in the 70's.

 

Yeah, Sue is alright, but I have to say I like Jules even more!

Thanks for the kind words. I think you all can understand now why we were so persistant....I had to have that car (wanted it for the last three years). I love g***ers!! The brown one is the first one I ever rode in and now I can drive one!

i saw it at the road rocket rumble and let me tell you...both cars are VERY nice and very well built.
it black one sounded pretty healthy too, but everyone was disapointed when it left saturday night...and didn't do a burnout

 

That's something I'll have to work on......
