Great site, I've been reading for years but there are sooooooo many rules to follow. I am intimidated to even write this for fear of having my house firebombed for not posting it correctly.

I guess since this in an introduction, I'm 33, a taurus, hate the term "rat rod", don't think tuner cars are all that cool, and like long walks on the beach.

No, I don't do all my own work, but that doesn't make my ride less cool (It may make me less cool), and it doesn't make my p***ion for traditional rods any less important. However I do envy those (bowing deeply) who do all their own work and would like to learn from them. That is the reason I'm signing up. You see... I ended up taking a different path in life and found myself with a biochemistry degree, MBA, and yuppie *** job making the****utic drugs for a biotechnology company instead of rebuilding engines. Only time will tell if that was a good choice or not.

Anyway, I'm working on a 1928 Dodge Brothers Victory Six 7 window, 8" chop (about 3" too much to be honest with you), 13" drop, 383 stroker (I'm actually proud of that, not sure why so many people bag on the 350) with 3X2's. Plan to put bags on the rear, do something with the interior, and drive the hell out of it.

Very nice to meet you all, your knowledge and coolness amaze me.
