chevelle rear gears

anyone know what gears are in a 72 chevelle six with a powerglide rear ? or have a link to a thread? --thanks

 

More than likely 3.08

 

Im going to say 3.08 my the wifes 65 elco had a 283 and 3 on the tree with 3.08 rears.My friends 65 chevelle had 3.08's and another friend of his had factory 3.08's in his.Seems to be a common ratio that gm used in the chevelle's....as a matter of fact the 69 camaro I had at one time had.....wait can you guess......3.08's.
