    Congrats Dan...

I looked at that car years ago... I really wanted to buy it at the time, but I waffled a bit and he started chopping it... :)

I wondered what happened to it... Should be a cool project.

yeah, I'm stoked, hey Nads, you can still make the notes out faintly, I think it's the sheet music for 99 Luft Balloons.

Man, is this the same guy that bought it originally? I spoke to Rudy a couple of years ago, the owner was selling some stuff that he wasn't going to use. Never got ahold of him. Rudy is a hell of a guy and is very helpfull. Wonder if they finished the one for Paul? Congrats Dan!!

    Howdy Verne.

I was just looking at it this morning in the Tex Smith book, How To Chop Tops whilst sitting on the can.
That's wear I gain most of my knowledge, on the crapper.

Kinda strange...I did this pic lately after seeing the Merc again for sale at LARS.It appeared every once in a while over the years and always wondered why nobody buys it.The floors and rockers need some special care though but should be no problem for you.Congratulations Dan !

got it in the shop. Not sure exactly what my plans for it are yet, I'm thinking flathead, lowered with dropped axle and reversed springs etc....the body is actually not as bad as it looks in the pictures, it just needs to be cleaned up.
