new guy story; at Bobleeds dads 60th party, heard about hamb, got home, lurked around hamb, left a post. A coupla days later, went to Bobbleeds, got caught up in the birth of Tucks hot rod. Tuck, Nate, Evel and Bobbleed said it ain't right If I'm a lurker so, here I am and thats my story and I'm sticking to it. I live in the Milwaukee area, got a half done chop top 65 Impala; juiced, frame layin 78 Mark V; shovelhead harley and a bunch of old hot rod and harley parts that will turn into finished somethings, some day. Glad to be on board.
PS. I don't want to hear anything fron Wingnutz except "hello"

missed the initial fire up of the hemi, was there for the second fire up. It is a must that life is not complete until you hear, smell and see a 4 carb/log manifold Chrysler hemi light up at night, fire directly out of the exhaust ports, 50 year old carbs*****ing gas out of an outboard motor can and everybody grinnin and cheerin like it went thru the lights at 3.9, 300 mph. It was fun.

Springer, chop in progress photos, not yet. Progress has stopped, temporarily. Hope to regroup by October. Any suggestions on how or who can cut the windshield to size will be REALLY appreciated.

HaHaHaHaHa I'm limiting Wingnutz shop time to 10 minutes a day. HaHaHaHaha

Curt you need to come and see the new shoebox. It rules.

To the rest of Hambland. OG 001 worked on my green car in High School shop class with my Uncle in 1956.

He really knows alot of history and will be a great****et to this place.

10 minutes for Wingnutz?, more than enough time!

I'll be out this week to see the shoebox and you know I gotta hear the history of the car and need to find out about the pileup, who's going and when.

When I gave your dad the picture, I wanted to tell every body that, before I got to work on the A cowl, I had been corrupted by Rod & Custom, Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines. Working on the A cowl was the first hands on a "hot rod" moment. The feel of the metal and the feel of the body hammer, the pick and file set me on life path that I wouldn't change. YOU AND YOUR DAD KNOW OF WHAT I SPEAK. It was unforgettable!! It's 50 years later and I'm telling the story like it was yesterday. Thank you for inviting me to the party. I thank you and your peers for "keeping the faith" and "praise the lowered".

Now, I gotta go see what our favorite Canuck has to say. HEH,HEH,HEH.
