I have always considered myself a ford man when it comes to body styles. So you can imagine the suprise when I looked into my own measily existance and noticed what I have been building lately. Anyway, just thought you chevy guys would enjoy a few shots from the shop.
Love the teardrop hood scoop on the 57 , I've been looking one for my 55 Chevy with the rear opening already cut out and the screen already glassed in , Did yours come that way, and if so, would you mind telling me where/who you purchased it from ? Thanks. Chuck.
I made the hood scoop. it is 7 inches tall. Under it lies a 4/71 blown 327 that is punched and bored to a whopping 365 cubic inches. The hood, fenders, and bumper are all glass. All of the side windows are lexan, and Im running a hydromatic stick in it. This is a real fun car and it pulls wheelies wherever it goes.
Verrrrry nice! I bought a teardrop scoop to go on an extra hood for my 57 Belair as well. I also bought a tunnelram to stuff onto the 454 to get the carb up into it......Now all I need is time.
That must be why the stickers are still on the front tires? They never touch the ground long enough to be worn off. Great rides!
Im about as impartial as can be on car makes as long as its old ,so dont feel bad (i have messed with them all seems like). That 57 Chevy looks tough trimmed with that teardrop scoop...
Im glad everyone likes the teardrop. At first I thought it was too much. I think the flames helped it out a lot.
most of them are being done to sell, I wish I could hold on to them in my stable, but ya gotta pay the bills.
Love that Coupe!!! Ever think about fogging a darker orange from the bottom up or even paneled? That would be boss hoss. Great Work!!!
That looks WAY COOL. but I have already colorsanded and buffed this car to mirror perfection. I am not goin through that again. Jim
I don't blame ya!! I was just playing around while I had a couple minutes at work. Can't wait to see some video of that car getting crazy.
