    For my 392 I have got a 4L80E transmision.
Now I need to make a adaptorplate for it.
I know they are for sale in the US but when I've got it overhere in the netherlands the price has more than doubeled.
    What I need is :
1 A drawing with the exact mesurements of the transmisionside of the 392
I believe that other old mopard have the same bold patern.

2 A drawing with the exact mesurements of the bellhousing of the 4L80E
    ( th400 is the same )

With this drawing I can cut the adaptorplate easaly becouse I have it done on CNC exuipment.

    Thanks

  2. I have Autocad drawings of the 392 backside and of a small block Chevy. If you have Autocad access I'll send them to you.

Is the smallblock chevy the same patern as the 6.2 diesel
( that is where the 4L80E came from )

  4. I don't have a clue about the diesel. The SBC pattern is the same as Turbo 350 and Turbo 400 transmissions....also the 700r4.

I'll send those "dwg" files right away.

  5. Yes, smallblock chevy and the 6.2 diesel use the same bellhousing pattern.

Johnny, I'd sure appreciate a copy of the SBC pattern. I need drawings for a 4 cyl VW diesel as well, if anybody has them. Or, anyone out there who might be able to whittle up an adapter for me? (VW TDI 1.9 motor to Chevy transmission)

    Thx
    Ken
