Great lookin' metal! The toughest part of metalshaping is charging enough to actually cover your true costs! S****ey Devils C.C. "Spending A Nation Into Generational Debt Is Not An Act Of Comp***ion!"
That is why the rick ROCK. . . they will spend the money on their pebble beach showfield investment. . . the poor would have it crushed. . .
Wizardry in metal. Just amazing. I wish I'd started doing that earlier in life. It's something that speaks to the motorhead and artist in me and the same time.
Jaw dropping! That boat-tail floored me. Welcome to the HAMB. I'd venture to say that your work could be displayed on the "Friday Art Show" thread. Stunning!
can you show us some of your tools ? Did you use a wooden buck or just build it freeform ? Do you do lots of small panels and weld them together or try and make large pieces ? Did you anneal the 3003 ? thanks for the info Beaulieu
Here is a couple shots of Dave (panelsmasher) working his magic at LG Kustoms & Hotrods. And some shots of the equipment. Dave has been at LG Kustoms for a few months now and is really teaching us alot!! The Fay Butler shape and form method he uses is great, it takes all the guess work out of metalshaping!! Some of the tools are Daves, some are mine.
