Here are a few pics I took today at the Nostalgia Nationals held in the UK.
This event caters for all sorts from traditional rods through muscle cars and various dragsters, altereds doorslammers etc.
Unfortunately the battery died on my camera so I missed a load of fantastic cars.
Here's what I did manage to capture.

It's called the Shedster and was built by a guy called Odgie over here who is more used to building motorbikes.
It was built for very little money and is more of a special than a hot rod and uses a mixture of Ford popular and 100e parts along with a whole ton of ingenuity and hand made one off components. Clever guy.
It's fully legal and he drives the shit out of it.
Here is a link to the build up pics...(click on 'shedster' albums)

Here is a cool pic with the matching trailer and one of Odgies bikes.

There were plenty of nice British based cars although not all of them were HAMB friendly and of course my battery dying didn't help.:(

This one is British though, as is the Shedster above.

    It is mate yes.
The body was all that was left and was in a pretty bad way. Some don't like what Spock, who built it, has done to the old girl but there was no way of putting it back to it's earlier guise. I love it. It has been given a whole new lease of life and he drives the crap out of it!

Wow, yeah the body looks about the same but the old Daimler's gone and the flake paint job, what kinda engine is it running now?

Yep Rover motor from a metro I believe! John (Spock) used to work for them.
He has done a good job of trying to disguise it.
Good enough for 16 second quarters. Not too shabby.
