Took some pic's from a small car-meeting in a small village in my home-area,this Coffe-meet is held every Tuesday during the summer. Not so many HAMBified cars but at least I tried to avoid the Mustangs and Corvettes and some others that don't qualify at all to the HAMB pre 64 rules, but it will give You an idea of how a ordinary Tuesday in the middle of Sweden can be when the sun is shining and some carguy's and gals just want to get a cup of coffe with some friends...
Damn, that post just robbed me of mine FNG-status,well WTH my plan was to be a FNG forever and ever, but almost 2 years as a FNG is pretty good work after all.
That Lancer is sweet, and the Packard convertible is no slouch either. Is that "little red wagon" an Opel? Looks like a serious hauler. Nice show...thanks for posting the pics!
The Lancer is as far as I know a unrestored car that came out of storage this spring. Yep that lil' red wagon is indeed an Opel, the model was called Kadett and it's a small car,(quite a bit smaller than a Chevy Vega)and yes sir,it moves pretty well, that is a road-legal streetcar that goes in the very low 9's and when they sorted out the new engine it probably will manage a high 8 second run. They ditched the old motor and nitrous-system for this year and built a new engine that is a 406 SB with a Pro Charger and it runs on E85. And that Packard Carrebian is really nice,I looked at it,and there is not a thing to nag about on it,it's perfect in every way."but he could have bagged it maybe"
Thanks alot for that teaser.. You knew my car was'nt ready. Try to get it ready til next week. See ya.
Great Cars. Good to see they still do them in other parts of the globe. Wish we had more down here, never happen.
What???????? Is the offroad-jambree next week, damn,I totally forgot about that one... And now You just got to post a pic of what You are screwing around with in Your shop so that all others can understand what I'm talking about in that line on top of this post of mine... Naaaaaaa just kidding ,it's not that high above the ground, but is it OK if I park my car under Yours to get it out of the sun for a while Bend On Buddy...
