New toy/ garage find

    HEY ALL!
    Here's my new toy... a 48 Chevy Stylemaster 2 dr coupe, been in this garage for 50 yrs...bought from original owners family...Bought and paid for yesterday from the trust...It has been up on blocks, tires holding air fine...this car has no rust at all...no dents in body or grill ...bringing home on Friday...I'M HAPPY!:D[​IMG]

    the interior is completely redone from the 70's , body excellent...wait till Friday afternoon, she'll be shining and I'll be posting pics! Wahooooo!:eek:

    It appears to have the factory grille guard on it, with the crossbar between the front bumper guards. That is a hard piece to find, and worth some good coin to the lowrider bomb crowd. You could put regular bumperettes on the front and sell that guard for probably $400. Neat car.

    very very cool. that car has some style....i like the factory forward slant on the pillar and that long front fender line looks good when they get low.

    It looks like an awesome start! I picked up a barn find 48 last fall. It is not as nice as yours by far. The inside is original and was ravaged by rats; it smells horrible. The engine is seized up bad, but i got a running 216 from a 46 ready to hop in its place. :cool:
