    hey guys,

    anyone have any pictures of chopped 4 door coupes? preferrably a 1950 chevy. looking for ideas/motivation.

    ah so you guys are awake... just makin sure everyones eyes are as good as mine.

    no but seriously a 4 door chevy body with a chop. personally i can't picture it looking good but obviously, i'm no expert. i have tons of homework to do on this so that i know wtf i'm getting into. any help would be awesome.. mocking posts are welcomed :rolleyes:
     
  6. There was Merc that Bo Huff chopped in a magazine...forget which one. And I was a drawing the guys at Oz Kustoms did of a 4 door 50's chevy....looked clean and bad ***. Try callin them

    The Merc in question in the "Dixie Deluxe" 4Dr. Mercury. It is a beautifull piece of craftsmanship. try running a seach here on the HAMB for a 4 Door Chop, I know I've seen a few threads about it. Not sure about the exact '50 Chevy thing, but I think it would be perfect. DO IT!!

    Here my 51 I have been tinkering with for a while. I took 4 inches out of the posts, another 1 1/2 inches out of the skin, and moved the rear of the roof forward 3 inches.

    Thanks, she still has a LONG way to go, but I am happy with how she is turning out. Here are a few more four doors I saved off the net.

    See if you can find any pictures of one done by Boyd Coddington for a Chevy dealer in , I believe, Minnesota. Totally awesome, and one of the neatest early 50's Chevys without exception.
