Hello, I am starting to look around for a good place to take my trim, some emblems, taillight housing, bumpers, etc. to get re-chromed when I take the car in for paint. I would like to know if there is a good place in the Sacramento area that does great work for a fair price? I would rather not have to ship out my stuff as it would cost alot! Some of my emblems are pitted, and the taillight housings are as well thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
did you try sherms plating in Sac? ive heard good things about the quality...dont know about the price though.
Vic has done lots for me --not cheap -- but fair -- good cores = good plating (pitted cores are expensive to fix and do not come out that great) AAA Polishing & Plating (916) 929-6895 2081 Rene Ave # C1 Sacramento, CA over behind McClellan AFB he did this SD for me
Sherms has done just about every major show car to come out of Nor Cal in the past 10 years. Big bucks but worth every cent. They also do Stainless restoration thats out of this world. I have to say I've heard good stuff about AAA as well though.
