More like brothers, mine is actually a 2 dr sedan, not a coupe like yours. It's kinda hard to tell from the pic I showed, and I am still amazed at all the different body variations Chevy had available in '48. I am curious to see what you do with yours. My new goal is to have mine on the road by the end of summer. Still not sure what I will do about the interior; I know it needs to be gutted to get rid of the rat piss smell, (even though it doesn't look that bad,) but what to put back in there? I have never done any upholstery at all, so it will be an adventure.
I had one when I was 18. Dad bought it for me at a farm auction for $27.50. Never did get it going but it was still fun.
