FYI not all states take or recognize Broadway ***le. I found that out the hard way about 15 years ago before I knew of International ***le Service here locally. Spent like $250.00 through Broadway and had something that the state here wouldn't take. I've used ITS recently for a 57 F100 and had no problems at all and for $150.00 total.

You don't unless you go through a ***le company that is in a state that doesn't have ***les for older cars, and that's how most of them do it. Basically you sell the car to someone in a state that doesn't ***le older cars. They do all of the paperwork to make it legal in their state and then they sell it back to you with registration, tags, and the paperwork that you need to ***le it in your state. You take all the paperwork plus an out of state inspection to the ***le office. If it's in their "book" that the state the car is registered in doesn't have ***les, they issue you a blue ***le.

As far as lost ***les go, I have on old Triumph 650 that was ***led in my name in the 70's. I went to file for a lost ***le and they said it was old enough that it was out of the system and I would have make all of the pencil tracing, paper work and hearings that you go thru to get a ***le without any paperwork.
