This is what hot rodding is all about. Info, a story, help and a number for questions. That's traditional :eek:

Great truck man! I would build it just tell everyone it's a 32 coupe and it'll be fine!!!

How about this one then ? Is on a neighbours property, and yep he told me i can have it. It was a potato truck and had the flathead put in it in the 60's

Wow! 4284555sd thanks for the info, I will absolutely get ahold of you. I'm excited about doing this up. I just went to take a look at it this morning after feeding the calves and it was a "B" not an "8". I really hate these transistion glasses, you can't see anything when the sun is shining. I was working on my Econoline and I couldn't find the tranny dipstick until I took off the blasted things! i really want to thank all the members for being so positive in this non-traditional build.

  7. Labrat,...at least those combines have big'n'littles, altho they are on the wrong ends!
Joeyjohn,...I have a shortbed pickup frame for sale if you wanna downsize that truck. The frame has an early Malibu front suspension on it already...you'd need some 1/2 ton front fenders tho as those KB8's are bigger

What did you use for running boards, or did you make them. I have six yes 6 of these trucks. I am planning on building one over the winter. I just hate the stock short running boards.

    Cool! That's what I mean!!!!
I hope everyone has a great 4th, I'm going to the free fireworks at the golf course tomorrow night. the brother-in-law is seeing if this truck is part of the estate, his mother died right before he married my sister and he got the farm house and a portion of the land. I sure hope it's just his, it seems like all the vultures come out after someone dies.

anyone can build a traditional hotrod it takes a true enthusiast to look beyond the obvious and build a one of a kind. Hot rodding was never meant to be buy a catalog and build. So hats off to building somrthing different. (more fun to really look for the hard to find stuff and not build from a catalog of repop stuff.
