By chance does anyone happen to have an elevation drawing of a 1932 Chevrolet 3 Window Coupe? I'm one of those crazy tabletop rodders who is looking to convert a '32 Chevy roadster into a 3 Window coupe. Even an elevation drawing of a '32 Chevy 5 window coupe would be of help. I have the link to the '37-60 Chevy Specs and Data page but of course the years '29 -36 have not been added, at least according to the link that I have. If there is a newer link and someone has it that would be fantastic. Thank you for any help Fletch
wouldn't it be easier to get a 3 window and sell the roadster? both rare cars, but there would be an *** load of work reworking the doors to have door frames. Cowl's are totally different... o yah, if your interested in unloading the roadster, let me know
Well We're talking 1/25th scale here not 1:1. In plastic the only thing available is the '32 Cabriolet or '32 Panel delivery. So, it leaves us scale rodders in something of a tight spot if we want to build a coupe. So, I figured with a elevation or construction drawing I could at least build a reasonable replica. But, if it were in 1:1 yeah, I'd definitely be looking for a 3 window body instead of attempting to convert a roadster or cabriolet.
if memory serves me well, the Deuce Ford and deuce Chevy are so close that you prob have more luck modifiyng a Ford top onto the chevy.
These are photos of a model I found on line.I don't remember the source but they came up in a google search for 32 chevy. A 32 5W door is 29 inches wide. You could figure a scale out from there. A 32 3W door is 35 1/4,same deal from a photo of a real car.
