There must be a ton of Chevy experts here on the HAMB so here is a question. Are all Chevy Fuelie heads interchangeable side for side? Are there any special markings that would make one a RIGHT or LEFT? Thanks only want to put things together once. :)

Alla same. Seen one, seen them all. 99.9 % true. Had one that didn;t have bolt holes in the end so had to use on the drivers bank.

If chevy made a right and left it would take two production lines instead of one so to cut production cost they were made universal from right to left

Only matters if you drive south of the equator, or the UK. That's why they have their steering wheels on the wrong side I've heard? ;)

Thanks! Now I can fit the headers to the heads and know the bolts clear everything before I sent them out for Jet Coating or whatever.

The only difference I know of is that the last of the fuelie heads ('68) had a pipe threaded hole for the temp sender in the LH head toward the front, on the side.
