Hey, I've been reading these forums for a while, and finally decided to join up. I've been kinda scared off because of my project, its nothing near what I want to finish with. But its also my first attempt at building a vehicle, so I wanted something easy that I won't feel bad screwing up. Anyways, its an 88 Mazda pickup with air suspension and a ford 302 with C6. Once I get my welding and bodywork down pat, then its time to look for something older, I've been checking out a 1950 Studebaker Champion that an old guy has had for sale for years now.
Welcome to HAMBlet. If you're not on the right path here there are "guideposts" that will direct you. I have a Mazdaspeed 3 for my everyother day car.
I've been working with my grandpa for years on restoring his 1960 Jaguar Mark II, and thats how the love of the old steel started. And thats when I also learned that I never wanted to work on another English car either.
