Great look, drive it and paint when you know what color is right.

    Very coooooool.

Remove the air cleaner, take a big shit in it.

Colors? I like subtle, dull grey, tan, etc.

Find a "Cross Ram" and put 2 scoops on it side by side. Looks nuts + fills the top of the engine area.

  9. Dude its cool! Nice work. As for color, I thought its done:D

I like the scoop, but just because everyone else hates it! But thats the way I've always been, I like stuff the masses hate, guess its my early childhood punkrock/ hotrod raising thats still in me:D:eek:

I think the '28-'29 A rad surround would look better than the sectioned '32.

    That'll be $0.02 USD...

Consider a deep (dark) Burgundy w/black and chrome accents. I just know you'll like it once you think about it.:D

  19. One of those swoopy two hole scoops would look pretty bitchin. I think Don Prudhomme had one on his 63 dragger

    What I don't like is that it's about done - I'm not.

Build a dropped base plate and top plate for one of those long 2x4's filters like FE motors had - It'll cover most of the carb and compliment the low look of the whole car. Just one man's opinion.

    Bitchin' build.

Have not had it on the road yet, it's currently all apart for paint and powder coat. I'm eager to see how these tires work also. They look well made but they are HEAVY almost like a HD truck tire.

Lose the scoop, ASAP! Hood top and get the radiator shell a tich lower than the cowl. Gloss black, Washington Blue, maroon or dark green. Keep the Duece shell but lower it or section it an inch or so, to get it just a tich lower than the cowl. Great looking RPU. Now, if your wife will let you drive it sometime, it'll be perfect!

  25. That is an absolutely cool looking ride !!!! The only thing I see is that the scoop does not go with your theme or the car

Oh so nice....(I do not like the scoop either)! BUT it is your car. Nice paint is a must on one so well done...regardless of color, go shinny. Rick.
