Hidden hinges info wanted (pocket hinges???)

Alright almighty HAMB, can you help a brother out? I'm looking to rid my van of its gawd awful huge externally hinged monstrosities. I mean look at these things!!!!! I know, I know....it's a van.........but still. What have you used to solve this eye sore whether it be on a van or not? Pocket hinges like on a 56 F100? Will they work? Are they re-popped? suicidedoors.com has a kit that's pretty spendy, but has anyone used them? I don't need suicide doors, but ***ume I can flip them..........right?

Any info, how to's, websites etc would be much appreciated.

the upper door hinges on 41-48 Ford p***enger cars are "hidden" hinges.
