Super coverage. All those big Galaxies rule. Thank you very much for your time and effort.

 

This is my Uncle Chris' truck... really hated missing this show, but I only had Saturday and Sunday off, and couldn't afford to flly... maybe next year.

 

Nice coverage, Malcolm........saw quite a few cars that belong to guys I know from my visit to the MidWest last Fall! Looked like a real good event with a lot of variety in the cars that participated........wish I could have been there.....

Thanks Nick. I really wanted to be there. This little taste of how things were helps ease the pain.

 

Just wanted to say thanks again to Cob for the open invite. I got tangled up in home improvement hell and couldn't make it. Just as well, my late model crap woulda screwed up the street shots in front of Cobs!

 

Haha I saw the coupe and thought "what the hell kind of mustang quartered tire-sticking-out thing is going on"

That's my friend Lonnie's new Willys truck. It was used as a fire truck at the Willys plant from 1942 until some time around 1965.

 

Damn, looks like a great time. I missed out on the autocross.

 

Hey, thanks for the pics, sorry I didnt get over to see you and Gary on Saturday. The guy that was with me had some problems and we didnt get in the fairgrounds until about 4pm so Saturday was a bust.

Thanks Malcolm for taking the time to post them, really enjoyed the pictures, nice variety in there. some 'interesting' executions of car, but that's what makes it an individual choice I guess.

 

Great job as always Malcom. Helps me keep in touch with my days in Lincoln and the Mid West.

Nice job on the pic's Nick. Gotta say Cobs Eat and Greet was outstanding, that and that Willys gasser pick-up were the highlights of the weekend for me. Had a great time with all of you and a huge thanks to Cob and his family for having us at there home. Now on to Salina in a couple weeks for the KKOA. Gary

Sat. afternoon, about 3:00, we were sitting at the light at the Quick-Trip when you went by, and I thought I could catch you.
Nope, you hit every light, and I missed them. All I saw were tailights, heading west, fading fast.
Oh well, maybe Salina,,,
