Wow! Somebody actually went BACK to Texas City!! I lived there from 76-85. Started my striping career there doing work for Arturo, Flores, Efrin, dealers and all the bros with lowered 67-72 Chevy trucks in La Marque. Painted signs all over town and in the refineries too. Never really liked the place, kinda dirty and smelly. I'm sure things are diff now.
