Alan, With the Daytona Dream Cruise that weekend, why not set up something in Daytona for Saturday with the racing on Sunday. If it's anything like Woodward, anything and everything should be welcome. Daytona Beach is 3 hours from Tampa, so anything on or near I-4 would not be that far. Just a suggestion. The Dream Cruise is just getting started down here (this is DDC #2) so it might be something worth getting involved with.

Damn, Emerald Coast is on the hypothetical table, huh? I raced there a few times when it first opened, when I was still living in Biloxi. It's a nice little small town track for sure, but DAMN!!, it truly is in the middle of no where! I'm sure that the 7+ hr drive would count most of us central and south floridians out.
