Customs Smoked '49 Cadillac Bullet lenses

I tinted the '59 Cadillac Bullet lenses on my '54 Buick sled. Going forward with a Blue, White, and Black color scheme and the red lenses just set too much of an American Pride tone to the car. Don't get me wrong, I love my country, but I didn't want the color scheme for my car. And "yes" I know all other cars have red tail lights and it doesn't mean that they have red as one of their colors. But it bothered me so I changed it. I don't think tinting lenses is exactly "traditional", but does it fit the tone of this car?

Looks a lot better with the tinted lenses, I'm not a huge fan of red lenses on everything either.

 

Well I'm glad there's not an angry mod breaking down my door for doing what some deem to be a trendy fad to 2 perfectly good pairs of Cadillac lenses.
