yeah sinister, i dont think i will be able to get away with cruzin like that again! sure was fun!

 

We need to be on our best behavior. We don't want to fuck this up if you know what I mean. Maybe we can get the city to allow us to do this through out the summer in the future.

I'm sure "we" will be....but it's the kids who don't know anything about the cruise, the locals in their 5.0's and Hondas that wanna "show their stuff"....especially if there's an audience.....ya know.

The nice part is that I have already had this conversation with the Police. They fortunatly know the difference between us and the others. We will see what happens. Like I said it would be nice to be able to do this more often in the summer months. Thanks again for everyone's support in this.

Oh, man, I remember cruising the Puyallup Loop back in 1981-82! Damn, those were fun times! Had my '66 Coronet 500 (still own it!), and was out nearly every Friday and/or Saturday night! Used to be out at McChord. There were several of us that were regulars. There was a nice '47 Chevy coupe that a buddy had out there, and another had a seriously cool '59 Impala hardtop with a 348 and three deuces. What was cool about the Loop was that you could just cruise in a one-block square, or go out to the ends and turn around. I liked giving the rich Seattle punks trouble when they showed up!

Hopefully the cruise lasts till next year when my car will be drivable again. I'll be at the show but it's just not the same cruising in a Mazda.

 

Won't have the 40 Chev Gasser done in time, so back workin on the Blue Bomber '28 AR Roadster. Will be there and cruisin'. Sounds like a good time. Anyone up for a HAMB meet an greet at the fairgrounds?? Rolf and I are planning on hangin' for a while on Saturday, maybe where we parked last year along the little water feature east side - no not the fountain.....
