I just bought a 41 Chevy coupe. Can anyone tell me what makes this different from the bisness Coupe? the body looks identical but maybe I am missing something.
    Thank you.

I maybe wrong, but with my '47 Chrysler, I was told that the biz coupe had no back seat so they could place their sales material in the back.

That's it, business coupes did not have rear seats, 1/4 windows were fixed and didn't slide, (unable to open), and your gas tank filler is in the rear 1/4 panel and the tank should be below that floor where the lower seat cushion would normally be. If it was a 5 passenger coupe with a rear seat, rear 1/4 windows would slide open, and gas tank would would be in the rear below the trunk floor. Look up the production, but usually fewer business coupes were built vs. the passenger coupes.

On a business coupe, there was a flat piece of plywood instead of a back seat. Also, the gas filler was right under the side(quarter) window instead of in the rear fender. Also, I think all business coupes were master deluxe (without all the stainless around the windows that the special deluxe had). Hope this helps.

If I remember right have Chevy only one cupe body then Ford and Chrysler have biz and sedan cup. Think chevy biz come with out backseat but often they pull in after some year. Fords biz body its sexy and sedan looks only strangers.
Maybe your Chevy come without armrest back and on passager side and only one sunwiss on driver side. But I can go after Swedish imports so USA can have outers types.
(have self Ford with long doors with biz roof)

Correct. I have a 1939 Chevy Business Coupe. Master 85. It has no sliding quarter glass. The gas tank would have been behind the front seat under a panel. However in mine there would have been a panel to seperate the trunk from the inside of the car. The Deluxe Model had sliding rear quarter glass and two jump seats, like you use to have in the early extended cab pick ups.
