Event Coverage Fatburger Cruise in Orange CA - Thursday nights

Looks like this is a real deal. I was out of town last week but will drop by tonight.

Bunch of Gold Chainers... lots of 55 chevys 66 67 EL Caminos and tons of mustangs!! Hoovs and I were there and some kid in a econoline! I may show up still for a bit!

yeah shhh dont tell I am leaving work early to get some blood work done and then to the tire store to get tire and wheels switched out!

Damn, talk about judgmental. A couple of HAMB compliant Deuce hiboys, a '40 Fordor, my '33 Willys sedan, a buddy with a '37 Willys sedan delivery and another buddy with a really neat Bugatti Type 35 replica he just finished up.

Any event it is what you make of it - really sorry it was not 100% to your liking - what would you like to have attend so that it meets with your full approval? This is beginning to sound as bad as the old time restorers - sheesh.

So this begs the question, if you hated it so much why are you planning on showing up???

 

Well, we made it tonight. Went in my 32 Coupe. Saw Weasel's Willy's, the Econoline kid, John in his Shebox, and Bad Bob in the "New" Hot Rod. Bob's like a little kid in a candy store about the car. That's pretty cool to see.
Variety of cars from a couple of late Vettes, to a restored 58 Impala, High Dollar rods to an Essex that could only be called a R@* Rod or Shock Rod. Had a good time, hope it continues and the Chili Cheese fries were great!

 

And don't forget the Kustom '59 Dodgero' my buddy Paul brought out - made from a convertible in '59 - that is one super cool piece. Forgot my camera - again.

A pretty good turnout, plenty of HAMB friendly rides and it looks like it's gonna get bigger.

Yep, Only Trader Paul would show up in a COE and then run home and get the Dodge. Said he was just crusin by with the wfie and kids, didn't even know about it.

 

Wow, wow, wow....tell me the info on this cruise ! I am down the road from Orange and have never heard of it.

I have known of paul for sometime and talked with him at many shows... That Dodge he has, has a sultans club plaque on the back window and as far as I know a Sultan he is not? Why would you sell a car with your club plaque still on it?

 

Yeah I thought that was kind of odd as well. I'll have to ask Paul .....

I'm going tonight, if I can get the trans working properly I will take the Grand National Roadster Show 34 roadster that we put together during the show. If not, who knows what I'll be in.
