Ok, fellow brothers of the Bayou City.I would like to make a suggestion pertaining to the first Sunday cruise gathering. Please don't bite my head off this is only food for thought. Has you all know the gathering is generally a hit and miss at best has far has folks showing up,therefor i would like to throw this out here.Seeing has through Sunday is thought of has a major family day would it not be good ideal to find a place that we would be able to drag along the kids with us.Somplace that can accomadate the cars and still allow us to gather in an outside setting that has park benches and shade trees. We could bring our own ice chest to save the cost of 3.50 per beer.I also think that if we choose a site that is highly visable we might even attract a few other rodder interest. I have been on the HAMB now for a couple years and it seems that a lot of us Hamb'rs are mostly located in the burb areas ****tered from NW Houston heading east along the Sam Houston beltway to the south has far has Sante Fe.Now this is not to say there is not more than a hand full in the inner city area also.I was thinking if we could find a spot somewhere in the I-10 and Beltway area such has Northshore area this would be a little more centrally located for more of us.One last thought, think about the Austin park and hang.It seems to be quite a hit up in that area. What the hell we might even start another cruise in such has some of the other Friday and Saturday night events that are taking place each weekend

I think thats a good idea. When I was in my Camaro club we use to rotate the meetings to differen't areas. That way you knew at least a couple of times a year the meet was close to you. Was good when the gas prices were high.

I like the idea. We should discuss it at the next HAMB get together maybe.

Yes. I've been wanting to get something going up that way for some time. Too nice of an area to not take a ride through.

A trip to Anderson sounds great. I think the 1st Sunday in the Heights works well, but I'm all for other runs or whatever.

I'm up for change. I don't mind the darkhorse, but there is not really any shade - especially during the middle of the afternoon. An evening during the week would also work or also friday/saturday night. I'm up for a cruise to Anderson.

Bryan - shoot me a PM if you still want to trade for those cragars. I sent you an e-mail, but never heard anything back.

    Anything takes involvement.
And like a broken record, I'm sorry I've dropped the ball nearly every month for sometime on showing up.
If Andrew or Brad didnt text me, I'd have forgotten about it all together, thanks guys for reminding me I ****.

All that said. Sundays were always really hard, but what day isn't? I'm up for any place new, and of course rotating is cool as well. As long as we have a place/way to ensure everyone is informed. One location has always been nice so everyone always knew when and where.

I really liked the Cochinos "big V burger" deal they did on Friday nights before the hurrican tore Big V up.

And when are we doing another Reliability Run?

yeah ummmm yeah welp I know.

Alrighty then. We need to do two this year at some point. Billetproof is in a few weeks. Day of the Drags is in a few months preceded by The Invasion in Dallas.

I'd like to get a quick trip in to Galveston and a good solid run around the woods and out to Bills place in Anderson. I guess I need to put on my planning hat.
