Olds cams

    can anyone recomend somewhere to have a healthy cam ground for a 303 olds?? i've looked all over (herbert, isky, schneider, claysmith, etc.) and no luck. vintage speed can do a cam i read but, is there any companies that have a kit perse?

    back when olds were runners if u didnt have a engle in it u didnt run try them or mondello he likes them olds too and him and jack engle were pretty good buddies

    engle has 6 cams listed for olds but none state whether or not they are for early ohv olds. just says Oldsmobile: 260-455ci...

    They're for the '65 and newer Olds engines. There are several cam grinders out there that can regrind your stock shaft with something livelier. Delta, for one.

    Please tell me more about DELTA, I have a 230 cam out of a 6 that use a little freshing up. Dodge that is,,,,,,:eek:

    Smitty are a great guy and a wealth of knowledge on Olds. Mostly 65 up but he can help with older stuff too.

    i just got home from a car show in vancouver and was talkin to a buddy who recomended oregon cam. said they do some amazing work and has been in drags since the early 60's. kinda started thinkin about trying to track down a suitable NOS one but.. probably easier to have one custom made.
